Celebrating 20 Years of Creativity , Compassion and Community!

Happy New Year! A letter from our Founder: Lauren Dennis-Perelmuter

I truly can’t believe that twenty years ago, Art To Grow On Children’s Art Center launched into what is now an ever growing mobile customized innovative Art Enrichment Company.

When I was younger, my parents thought all 5 year olds color every day and have art shows in the back yard – don’t they?

Well, little did any of us know that my passion for “color and design” led me to a Fine Arts Degree, another degree in Textile Design, studying in Paris and launching a business that combined my love of art, business and working with both children and adults in a way that provides opportunities for elevated esteem, creativity and innovation.

As we start 2020, I must take a moment to express my true gratitude to you: those of you who find value not only in the arts, but in the art process: allowing both children and adults to innovate, create, try and fail and succeed, make and explore.

We have emphasized that Life Essential Skills are not only sharpened and enhanced by engaging in the creative process, but critical thinking to problem solving to grit and perseverance are all strengthened…but as we start 2020, we are adding three new very important words: Joy, Happiness, Balance.

We have expanded into “adult” programming due to the sheer need and requests that ” you join in too”

We are beyond excited to formally announce our two newest classes for Adults: MindfulArt Thursdays & SoulfulArt Sundays!

We thank our newest partners, clients, schools, non-profits, corporate child care centers and senior communities:

  • Seacrest Studios
  • Academy of Country Music Lifting Lives
  • Peninsula Montessori
  • Soleado and Rancho Vista Elementary Schools (PVPUSD)
  • Bright Horizons Figueroa
  • Adventureplex

  • and MORE!

And a BIG THANK YOU to our extraordinary team of Art Educators..as they are in the classroom daily working with your children!

I want to share one of my highlights of 2019: meeting and speaking with Maria Shriver at the WAM Conference in Los Angeles, Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement.

Creativity and Cognitive Health are at the forefront of our programming customized for senior living communities and memory care residents…stay tuned!
