A gingerbread workshop took place at the Manhattan Beach Art Center Sunday, Dec. 9. The event, hosted by ArtToGrowOn, provides art enrichment programs to a number of public and private elementary schools, city parks and recreation programs, nonprofits, Terranea Resort, Sony Pictures and more.
According to Lauren Perelmuter, founder and president of the organization, some of the gingerbread houses were being donated to families who lost loves ones during the Las Vegas mass shooting.
